Easter with Powerhouse Kids

Our Powerhouse Kids had a fun God-filled Easter weekend. Over 40 children and their families came together to pray and to find all of the Easter Eggs hidden by Pastor Jeff’s men’s small group. We shared the story of the Jellybean Prayer, and thanked the Lord for such a beautiful day.

On Easter Sunday we brought the story of Jesus’ death and resurrection to life. We watched as our Sunday school children sat riveted by scenes of  the last supper, the crucifixion, and the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The children had so many questions, I’m sure the ride home with the family was a great teaching moment.

Thank you to all our volunteers, the spirit of God was truly present with our Powerhouse Kids !

Good Friday Service

Good Friday is the day of remembrance of the death of Jesus Christ for His church.  It is called good because of its resulting benefit to all those who put their faith in Christ for salvation.  It was not a good day for those who lived through it.  In fact it was a very trying day.

Crisis of Belief

Egg Hunt!

There is much excitement buzzing around our Easter Egg Hunt.   This is not your traditional egg hunt, a fun color-coded egg hunt is in the works for NEXT Saturday, April 7th.  At 11:30 a.m. get ready to run around Powerhouse with your little ones.  Children 5th grade and below are welcome to join the hunt.  Bring friends and family!  All are welcome, however, we do ask that you RSVP to give us a heads up.   Our men are ready to hide some eggs and our women are ready to stuff the eggs, now all we need are the children!

Wyckoff Easter Church ServicesIf you live in the Wyckoff NJ area, make plans now to bring the family to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus with us on Easter Sunday at either of  our worship times of 9 or 10:45 a.m.  Our nondenominational Easter worship gathering includes some great contemporary worship and a heartfelt message of hope. Afterwards, there will be refreshments and a chance to meet and greet new friends.

Wyckoff Easter Services & Easter Egg Hunt

Leading up to our Easter Sunday worship experience, there will be a Good Friday service at 7 p.m. at Powerhouse. The day before Easter Sunday there is an opportunity to enjoy an Easter Egg Hunt for the entire family.
