"Hi Powerhouse Prayer Warriors,
 
I am praising the Lord today
for all that he is doing in my life and thanking him for you and
your prayers. The photo shoot for my CD went really well last
week. Friday was a perfect day- no humidity and the Lord helped
to keep me cool (as I tend to be very hot).
 
Today is the
last recording day. I will be recording from 3-11 tonight with
Dave Edwards so if you would be praying for us and that the Lord
would guide and direct the day. Pray for no technical issues and
that we accomplish everything that needs to be finished. We are
on a big deadline to wrap up in the next couple
weeks.
Additional prayers as I get copyright clearances- pray
for no snags or hold ups and for my friend Jeff who is designing
the CD and all the promotional materials.
Thank you all so much.
It is an honor to pray for you and I appreciate you so much. We
have an amazing church family. Thank you for your support.

stroke a couple of days ago. She has lost use of her hand and arm
and has a blood clot.

"Ephesians 4:29 says Let everything you say encourage, helpl and
be an encouragement to those who hear them.
In the winter of
2006 when my marriage started to collapse I used to awake and
pray around 2 am almost every night. That was God awaking me
don't think I am a hero!!! One night I opened my bible in the
dark and I read Zechariah 9:12 Come back to the place of safety,
all you prisioners who still have hope! I promise this very day
that I will repay two blessings for each of your troubles.
The
road was dark and long and many nights I didn't think God was
truly leading me besides still waters. I know someone out there
may be going through a painful divorce and not understand what
God is doing but last Friday I had my first date in 20 years! I
wasn't crazy about the guy but I was crazy about the fact that
God brought me to a place of total joy alone and free of a
marriage that was not glorifying Him. Be encouraged, he knows
what best for us.

"Please pray for my dad, Robt., who my mom took to the hospital at
5am this morning (Mon.).  Dr's  think that everything is
"normal"....we think his sugar level was much too high (w/
diabetes)...also, he has been disoriented since 5am...doesn't
know where he is, etc. He was admitted.  If you could pray for
my mom, that would be great, too....They don't have anyone but
each other in Florida.

"Hi Powerhouse Prayer warriors,
Many of us have been praying for
Dave Pepling to be able to be moved out of the "boarding house"
in Paterson. (The area has become unsafe, he has no cooking
facilities so has to eat out or always eat cold foods; he shares
a bathroom down the hall with 15 other guys)
 
GOD has
answered!!!
Dave P.  will be moving to 412 Vassar Street,
Wyckoff this Wednesday, September 1st.
 
[Dave is partially
handicapped since birth and can only work part-time. He could not
learn to read well due to brain damage from epilepsy.   Many of
you know him as a porter at the Midland Park A& P and a member of
our church family.]
 
He has a need for new bedding: A couple
pillows, a set of twin bed sheets, a blanket or two and a throw
rug for the wood floor.
 
It is not within my means to help
provide these for him, but I wanted to put it out to our church
family in case any of you can help.

"Hi Everyone ~
Many of you know that Dave Edwards and the Arts
and Worship Team of Musicians is in the process of producing a CD
version of last Christmas' (2009) concert "NOEL - The Music of
Christmas" -  We are coming very close to finishing up the
project.  (Yes! it will be available to our Powerhouse Family)
Thank you to those of you who have been praying for us
through-out the project.
Please continue on in your prayers on
our behalf.
While we are nearing the finish line... there are
still a few songs to record, then mix etc.,  the Cd cover is
well under way with a bunch of graphic artists from within our
own Powerhouse family using their talents. (BTW this includes
Jordan Vadala and Jon Prokopowitz), and then we send it all to
the production company. And there seems to be some 'hanging
chads' on the business end: We are still waiting on a copyright
usage approval for one song, some odds and ends of
details...

week for Hawaii for a mission trip. Please also keep my husband

"Dear Powerhouse Family,
 
Earlier this week I asked for prayer
for the final preparation for my CD recordings. We are doing a
photo shoot (Thurs and Fri). I just spoke to the Photographer and
he is under the weather fighting something off. Because time is
short would you pray that the Lord touches his body and that the
shoot will go as planned and scheduled and that everyone else
involved with stay healthy.
 
I injured my back on Monday and
I am getting around but the pain is still flaring up and I need
to be able to do the two days being on my feet a lot. Pray God
strengthens me so that I can finish the task at hand.
Update: My
friend Danielle's brother had a heart attack on Sat (Jimmy). He
is scheduled for a triple bypass tomorrow. The doctors feel good
that he is in good health but he does not know the Lord and
Danielle is sharing with him so pray that his heart would be open
to Jesus.
